The Fairfield Police Cadet Program is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. You can donate to the post by cash or check made out to the Fairfield Police Cadet Program and mail/bring it to the Fairfield Police Department, or through our new Venmo and PayPal accounts.

Your donation means a great deal to our program. The Fairfield Police Cadets do not receive any town funding so that we do not detract from the essential services the police department provides.

Send the Fairfield Police Cadets to the
National Explorer Convention!

The Fairfield Police Cadets will be representing Connecticut at the National Explorer Competition in Nevada in 2024. You can ensure all members of the team, regardless of their financial background, can attend by donating to our program.

As a non-profit organization, our ability to continue our mission depends on the generosity of individuals and organizations. Currently we are looking to raise funds for an upcoming national conference in Nevada. The Explorer National Conference (ExCon) is held yearly in Las Vegas, hosted by the Las Vegas Police Explorer Program. The Fairfield Police Cadets won 1st Place at the 2023 Northeast Stations Day Competition and we were invited to expand our success to a national level.

Our goal is to provide members of the Fairfield Police Cadets with a platform to showcase their skills, knowledge, and teamwork in various law enforcement scenarios. ExCon includes competitive events, training sessions, and networking opportunities for police explorer programs from across the country. To take 10 Cadets and 4 Police Officers, this endeavor will cost $12,000. Simply put, without additional donations we will not be able to go. We are reaching out to our community partners in hopes that we can raise the funds necessary so that any qualified cadet, regardless of their financial situation, can experience the benefits of this educational experience.

Training and Development: Funding will help us provide comprehensive training and educational resources for our cadets, ensuring they are well-prepared to serve the community effectively.

Uniforms and Equipment: Your contribution will go towards outfitting our cadets with essential uniforms and equipment required for their duties, promoting a sense of professionalism and unity.

Community Engagement: Our cadets actively participate in community service projects, helping to improve the quality of life for Fairfield residents. Your support enables us to continue these initiatives, which have a direct and positive impact on our town.

Career Development: Cadets receive instruction on how to write resumes and cover letters, as well as courses on interview etiquette and oral board preparation. Your support will assist in learning materials to help prepare our community’s youth for their future.

Transportation: Donations can also help cover transportation costs for cadets to attend training sessions, community events, and competitions. This support ensures that our cadets, regardless of their financial situation can enjoy the full experience of the program.
