New Cadet Protocol

Prospective Cadets are required to attend and participate in 3 meetings before committing to the Cadet Program. During those meetings, Prospective Cadets can see if the program is something they'd like to be involved in.

If after 3rd meeting the Prospective Cadet wants to continue with the program, they must bring the following items to the next meeting:
  • A printed and signed Application Packet (Please note that by signing the application, it acknowledges that the Prospective Explorer has read the Policy Manual).
  • The rental fee for the Uniform ($100 Cash or Check)
  • A pen and notebook
  • A willingness to learn!

More information is disseminated once the Prospective Cadet attends a meeting and coordinates with a ranking Cadet.

Parents

Because the Fairfield Police Cadet Program is a youth run organization, we encourage current active Cadets to communicate through their chain of command with any questions. If a parent or Cadet needs to contact an advisor however, please use the Contact Us form below if you have any questions, concerns, or comments to address to the Cadet Post. Someone will respond to your submission within 48 hours.

If you are a parent and you are interested in having your child be a part of the Cadet Program, please fill out the Contact Us form below with any questions. An officer will call you to answer any questions you may have about the program.
