Recognition is an important aspect of the Fairfield Police Cadet Program, though we do not hand out "participation awards." Each Citation, Letter of Commendation and Letter of Recognition must be earned. These awards are designed to encourage good deeds, exemplary performance, and career building actions. There are three tiers of awards, from Letter of Acknowledgement, to Letter of Recognition, to a Citation Ribbon.
