Fairfield Police Cadet Honor Roll
This page is dedicated to the Cadets from the Fairfield Police Department who have gone on to have a career in Law Enforcement. The Program is not designed to recruit young men and women into law enforcement, but many former Explorers go on to have successful careers in local, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as other public safety jobs.

Sergeant Gabe Mezaros
Sergeant Mezaros was originally a Fairfield Police Explorer, after which he joined the military and served in the United States Army. He was hired by the Bridgeport Police Department, where he founded the Bridgeport Police Explorers. Through this program, he has mentored hundreds of inner-city young adults, guiding them towards a life of service to those in need as well as keeping them off the streets of Bridgeport. Sergeant Mezaros was elected for a term as the Director of NERLEEA, and was the director of the Tactical Challenge for several years. He served as an amazing role model for 25 years of service as a police officer, to so many who have come through the program, and continues to put others before himself in his everyday life.

Special mention
